また新しい年を無事にお迎えすることができたことに感謝し、

今年一年無事でありますようにお祈りしております。

今年は辰年、龍の年でありますが、

ここ大徳寺の山号は龍寶山。

本堂を始め各所に龍の絵を見ることができます。

こちらは千利休さんの木造があることで有名な金毛閣の天井におられる龍さま。

記憶が曖昧なのですが、長谷川等伯が描いたっておっしゃられてた様な気が。。

以前金毛閣に登らせてもらった時に撮ったものです。

（いちおう、撮ってもいいですかって聞いてあります。）

本堂の龍はたまに見ることができますが、こちらの龍はほとんど見ることはない貴重なものです。

ぜひみなさまが健やかな１年を過ごすことができます様に。

This year is the year of the dragon(Ryu),

The place  name of Daitokuji Temple is Ryuhouzan.

You may see dragon paintings in the main hall and many other places in the temple.

The dragon in the photo is a rare and precious object that can rarely be seen because it is not open to the public.
